Channel 46 is the album Carlisle Jones always wanted to make since 2005 when he heard DangerDoom's album "The Mouse and the Mask" for the first time. Starting the album with the quote: "Only two kinds of people can hear my song: those that see the world with pure childlike wonder and those with a deep sense of lost in their hearts." The theme of having your favorite Cartoon Network shows be the main content and direction for the lyrics and music, urged Carlisle to make his own version. Unlike MF Doom, this album focuses on influences from the Hanna Barbara era, late 90s and the early 2000s cartoons. Every titled track is aimed to address a specific show Carlisle watch growing up. With every verse forcing you to try to pick his brain on what he's trying to say, and each instrumental to fill you with a sense of nostalgia. Simply enough, Channel 46 is the station he grew up on and, to this day, cherish more and more with age; and he hopes this album will do the same.
